Hardware Features

Ergonomic Design: The Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series offers a familiar user experience with an intuitive interface, designed for ease of use in traditional telephony environments.

Display: The 7821, 7841, and 7861 models feature a white backlit 3.5″ grayscale display (396×162 pixels), while the 7811 has a non-backlit 3.28″ grayscale display (384×106 pixels). Displays support scrollable menus and XML-based applications.

Handset: The 7821, 7841, and 7861 include wideband-capable handsets via RJ-9 ports. The 7811 comes with a narrowband handset (upgradeable to wideband). All models are HAC-compliant and meet ADA standards, with optional inline amplifiers for additional loudness support.

Headset Support: RJ-9 analog headset ports with wideband audio are supported on the 7821, 7841, and 7861. Not available on the 7811.

Backlit Indicators: LED indicators are available for line, message waiting, and audio path keys (except headset on 7811).

Volume Control: Toggle switch adjusts volume for the handset, speaker, and ringer.

Speakerphone: Full-duplex speakerphone functionality with DTMF tone masking enhances security during calls.

Bezel Options: The 7821, 7841, and 7861 come with a default black bezel (user-replaceable). A silver bezel is available separately. The 7811 includes a fixed black bezel.

Foot Stand: The 7821, 7841, and 7861 support dual-angle positioning (30° and 45°). The 7811 supports a fixed 45° position. All are wall-mountable with an optional kit.

Electronic Hook Switch: Available on 7821, 7841, and 7861 for third-party headset integration via auxiliary port.

Keys: All models include line keys, soft keys, navigation/select keys, dedicated function keys (Hold, Transfer, Conference), and volume/speaker/mute controls. The headset key is not available on the 7811.

Ethernet Connectivity: Dual-port 10/100BASE-T Ethernet supported across all models. The 7841 supports 10/100/1000BASE-T with Cat5/5e/6 cabling.

Power Features

PoE Support: All models comply with IEEE 802.3af (Class 1) PoE, with a maximum power draw of 3.84W.

AC Power Option: Compatible with Cisco Power Cube 3 (CP-PWR-CUBE-3=) and Adapter 3 (CP-PWR-ADPT-3) for non-PoE deployments.

Power Injectors: The 7811, 7821, and 7861 support CP-PWR-INJ. The 7841 supports AIR-PWRINJ5=.
